CULTURAL COMPETENCE TRAINING

Navigating in a diverse community is all about discovery. There isn’t just one single strategy that businesses, agencies, or organizations can use to maximize their success. At COMPASS, we are committed to helping you grow by encouraging multiculturalism. We offer several services that can help you achieve that goal:

It only made sense to have COMPASS help us with in-service and new hire training aimed at awareness of cultural differences. Cultural competence consists of the following four elements: awareness, knowledge, skills, and commitment. Through our trainings, we help people increase their awareness of cultural differences, expand their knowledge about these differences, learn skills to achieve successful interactions with people of different cultures, and make personal commitments to continue learning about diversity in their workplace and community.
