INTERPRETATION AND TRANSLATION

Navigating in a diverse community is all about discovery. There isn’t just one single strategy that businesses, agencies, or organizations can use to maximize their success. At COMPASS, we are committed to helping you grow by encouraging multiculturalism. We offer several services that can help you achieve that goal:

"ConMed has supported diversity - not only because it is the right thing to do - but it has also made good business sense. COMPASS has been a critical and strategic business partner contributing to the fulfillment of many of our staffing requirements. They also continue to be a valuable resource for us in matters pertaining to the understanding of cultural differences as well as providing translating services when necessary." ~ Bob O'Reilly, Human Resources Director, ConMed

COMPASS can help facilitate understanding and language communications by providing experienced, trained, objective and confidential interpreters. We can also assist in the translation of information, forms, signs, handbooks, policies, and regulations. We offer our interpretation and translation services 24/7.

Our interpreters are specially trained in the areas of basic interpreting skills, overview of the health care system in the United States, culture and its impact on interpreting, communication skills and advocacy, and professional development. Additionally, they complete the Cross Cultural Healthcare Program’s nationally certified 40-hour medical interpretation course, Bridging the Gap.

COMPASS offers on-site interpretation in medical, and non-medical settings, as well as written translation. We offer interpretation for many languages*, including, but not limited to:
